Completed in Summer 2015, this 8,000 sq ft contemporary new-build house was designed in response to challenging planning constraints.
The architectural approach emphasises strong horizontal elements, particularly at first-floor level, creating a calm and elegant form that sits comfortably within the surrounding landscape.
A pitched and hipped slate roof reflects the character of neighbouring properties, while the privacy afforded to the rear elevation allows for a more contemporary expression. Here, increased glazing has been introduced to maximise natural light and frame views across the landscaped garden and swimming pool.
