Simon Brown Architects was formed in 2009 with a vision to design & deliver projects that are spatially elegant, economically appropriate, and environmentally responsible.
We provide a full Architect’s service from feasibility through to completion with highly qualified, experienced resources at your disposal.
We are dynamic, efficient, and quick to respond, adding real value through innovative design tempered with a commercial awareness.
We pride ourselves on building and retaining good client relationships with a level of repeat work is testimony to the quality of our service, both in terms of design and value to our clients.
Simon Brown
Before launching Simon Brown Architects, Simon founded Hale Brown Architects with Matt Hale in 2013.
With nearly 25 years practicing architecture, his experience covers a wide variety of sectors including mixed-use master planning, affordable housing private residential and aviation.
Simon’s goal is to achieve elegant design that is economically appropriate and environmentally responsible.

Our Studio is located on the infamous Eel Pie Island which can be found in the middle of the Thames at Twickenham, 10 minutes walk from the train station.
It was once a bubbling cauldron of British rock ’n’ roll. There was a five-month period in 1963 where you could see the Rolling Stones play there every Wednesday. The Who, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and Genisis all did gigs at the Eel Pie Island Hotel, a rickety nineteenth-century ballroom that was lost to a fire in 1971.
