Hale Brown have remodelled and partially extended this existing 6-bedroom house in Wandsworth for a private client.

Existing piecemeal rear and side extensions have been merged and opened up with a new curved glass extension and large sliding doors onto a relandscaped garden.

A previously unused basement has also been linked to the main living space by cutting back the ground floor reception rooms and creating a double-height space and usable staircase.

A new visula axis runs through the house from the front door to garden only interrupted by a new minimal open-riser stair.
