Built in 1864 and originally serving as the rectory to the local church across the surrounding fields, this seven-acre country estate is set within a landscape of ornamental lakes, a swimming pool, tennis court, and a fully restored coach house.
The project involved the comprehensive renovation and refurbishment of the main house, alongside the introduction of a carefully integrated contemporary extension. This new addition forms the heart of the family home, accommodating a
generous kitchen and living space, and is centred on a dramatic cantilevered stone staircase illuminated from above by a bespoke ridge rooflight, bringing daylight deep into the plan and creating a clear dialogue between old and new.
