SBA has completed a comprehensive programme of extensions and refurbishment to this 5,000sqft family house in Esher.
The site is located at the end of Esher Close, a private road accessed from Portsmouth Road and within close proximity to the town centre. The property is enveloped by mature trees, providing a high level of natural screening and seclusion within its setting.
The design of the extensions have been carefully calibrated to minimise any visual or amenity impact on surrounding neighbours. Rooflines have been extended and articulated as a natural continuation of the existing form, ensuring the new works blend seamlessly with the established vernacular. The resulting intervention enhances the functionality and spatial quality of the house while maintaining a restrained and contextual architectural presence.
